![]() ![]() All circuit boards are held in place by melted plastic, no screws unfortunately. I'm thinking the resister might need to be bypassed if using a complete LED replacement circuit intended to be installed in place of a standard bulb, but there should be space. I also pulled apart the map light assembly to see how hard it would be to upgrade the LED's to perhaps 3 watt CREE LEDs. There are some tiny plastic parts that snap to hold the headliner in place, but they easily pull loose once the metal ones are released. ![]() ![]() The back side will just hinge out once the snaps are pulled loose. It's primarily held by two metal snap clips closest to the windshield. I could not find the "maplights" post, but I was able to remove the console. Center Console Removal and Map Light Disassembly
